Diane Havlinek, MBA

Diane Havlinek joined Presbyterian School, Houston TX, in 2019 as the Chief Finance and Operations Officer where she is responsible for the Business Office, HR, IT, Facilities, Operations and Auxiliary Services. Diane's favorite part of her job is fixing processes and systems that don't work, are inefficient or are out of date. Taking something apart and putting it back together better, keeps the job exciting and fun.

Prior to Presbyterian School, Diane served as the Director of Finance at the Village School, Houston TX, a PK3-12 Boarding and Day School. Additionally, Diane briefly served as an IT Consultant at ACS Hillingdon School in Uxbridge, England, a K-12 International School. Diane has also worked in Higher Education Administration at Rice University, Oil and Gas Finance and Medical Device Development.

She holds a BS and MENG in electrical engineering from Cornell University and an MBA from Yale University with concentrations in Finance and Operations.

Diane and her husband Ken have a passion for travel, having lived and loved the expat life. They try to never visit the same place twice, seeking out destinations off the beaten path, like traveling to Antarctica in the spring of 2023 and Iceland in the summer 2024.
