Rose Neubert is a seasoned leader in school finance and operations, with over three decades of experience in the independent school sector. She retired in 2024 after serving as the Chief Financial and Operations Officer (CFOO) at Stuart Country Day School of the Sacred Heart in Princeton, NJ, a position she held since 2010. Rose’s journey in education began in 1989 at Stuart, marking the start of her career in independent schools. She later played a key role as a founding trustee and business officer at Princeton Academy of the Sacred Heart, contributing to the school’s growth for 12 years.

A Certified Public Accountant, Rose’s career began at KPMG before transitioning to the education sector. Over the years, she has become recognized as an expert in school finance and operations. She has led numerous construction and renovation projects and has developed a strong passion for sustainability in both physical plant management and financial planning.

Beyond her role at Stuart, Rose has been an active member of several boards, including the National Business Officers Association (NBOA), where she served as Board Chair from 2021 to 2023, and the New Jersey Association of Independent Schools (NJAIS), where she has been a long-standing board member and Chair of the Finance Committee. Rose has also contributed to the Pennsylvania Association of Independent Schools Business Officers Association (PAISBOA) and the Network of Sacred Heart Schools.

Rose is deeply committed to promoting diversity and inclusion within the independent school community. She served on Stuart’s Committee for Diversity and Inclusion, reflecting her dedication to these values. Her significant contributions to the field have been widely recognized, including her recent receipt of the 2024 NJAIS Service Award. Over the years, she has presented at numerous industry conferences and played a vital role in school accreditation efforts, leaving a lasting impact on the independent school sector.

Rose and her husband, Chris, reside in Hopewell Township, NJ, where they enjoy the area's walking trails and countryside. In her free time, she enjoys traveling, cooking, and cherishing time with family—especially her young granddaughters.
